According the the Nielsen Company, both iPhone OS and Android OS have gained 2% market share, at the expense of RIM’s Blackberry and Windows Mobile. Oddly enough, the study also found that iPhone owners were more likely to have An income above 100k and a college degree. They offer no explanation for this, just the statistics.
On a final note, they point out that 14% of Android users will be switching to the iPhone, while just 7% of iPhone users say they’ll be switching to Android. It looks like people are happier with the iPhone.
