Sure, the people who pre-ordered their iPhones have had them for a while. So what? They missed out on the long lines, people selling their spot in line, and possible hangups with AT&T’s network.
If you haven’t gotten in a line yet, you’re probably out of luck. There’s no way you’re going to get a spot now. You can try, but you’ll be taking up the rear at this point.
But don’t worry, Apple will make plenty more, and a bit of patience will mean no time in line, and better chances of not having problems activating it on AT&T’s network. It also means any quirks the early adopters run into won’t be around by the time you first start it up.
