When the iPhone 6 Plus was first released, a rumor of it bending got blown out of proportion. Apple replaced any bent units, which was reportedly less than 10, and Consumer Reports even stated that it’s very difficult to bend the new iPhone, even though it is so thin. That didn’t stop Incipio, a well known smartphone case maker, from making an extra strength “bend-proof” case. Incipio’s new Trestle case claims it’s been made to “Defend against the Bend”. Incipio’s clearly trying their best to take advantage of a fad, but will it pay off? I still hear many people joke about the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bending, but does anyone actually believe it? More to the point, does anyone want to buy a case with bulky reinforcements for one of the slimmest and best looking smartphones on the market?
