I broke my iPhone 5 in September of 2013. At that point, I had owned an iPhone for 3 years, and never broke the screen. But, like the first time you ride a roller coaster, you tend to do something more after you do it for the first time. Today I found out one good thing about the warped linoleum floors in my cheap apartment, because as putting my pants on today at a much fancier place, with tile flooring, my iPhone 6 fell out of my pocket. It landed right on the corner. Needless to say, expect some iPhone 6 case reviews in the near future, and a review of Apple’s repare process tomorrow.
My iPhone 6 fell from less than 3 feet onto a tile floor, that’s not a very far drop. The phone still works, but my screen is cracked. It has that rough broken glass feel, and I hope I don’t cut my finger using it before tomorrow. This is the only time those film screen protectors are useful, they keep the pieces of glass together. Hopefully, if Apple still does in-store replacement for iPhone 6 screens, because I don’t want to wait to have my iPhone in one piece (and wrapped in silicone) again.
